Research interests
I am an interdisciplinary conservation scientist who applies natural and social science tools, including policy-relevant evidence synthesis, interviews, and cognitive mapping to explore relationships between people and nature. My postdoc research will focus on interregional ecosystem service flows (e.g., biophysical flows through species migration and dispersal) and their transboundary governance in Western Canada. Other ongoing research interests of mine include evaluating and predicting the delivery of pollination services, and the use of empirical evidence in wildlife management and biodiversity conservation.
